Coherent States for Transparent Potentials
The concept of coherent states (CS) is widely used in different fields of physics and mathematics (see for example Refs. [1] [3]). In particularly, it plays an important role in the Berezin quantization scheme [4], in the analysis of growth of functions holomorphic in a complex domain [5], in a general theory of phase space quasiprobability distributions [6], and in a quantum state engineering ...
متن کاملCoherent States for Unusual Potentials
The program to construct minimum-uncertainty coherent states for general potentials works transparently with solvable analytic potentials. However, when an analytic potential is not completely solvable, like for a doublewell or the linear (gravitational) potential, there can be a conundrum. Motivated by supersymmetry concepts in higher dimensions, we show how these conundrums can be overcome.
متن کاملCoherent states for exactly solvable potentials
A general algebraic procedure for constructing coherent states of a wide class of exactly solvable potentials e.g., Morse and Pöschl-Teller, is given. The method, a priori, is potential independent and connects with earlier developed ones, including the oscillator based approaches for coherent states and their generalizations. This approach can be straightforwardly extended to construct more ge...
متن کاملSelf-Similar Potentials and q-Coherent States
The self-similar potentails is formulated in terms of the shape-invariance. Based on it, a coherent state associated with the shape-invariant potentials is calculated in case of the self-similar potentials. It is shown that it reduces to the q-deformed coherent state. 03.65.Fd, 03.65.Ge, 11.30.Na Typeset using REVTEX 1 The term “coherent states” is applied to many objects today [1]. The ordinar...
متن کاملGazeau- Klouder Coherent states on a sphere
In this paper, we construct the Gazeau-Klauder coherent states of a two- dimensional harmonic oscillator on a sphere based on two equivalent approaches. First, we consider the oscillator on the sphere as a deformed (non-degenerate) one-dimensional oscillator. Second, the oscillator on the sphere is considered as the usual (degenerate) two--dimensional oscillator. Then, by investigating the quan...
